Pawsy Fur 4.5cm Luxury Faux Fur is fabric for fursuit, costume, and craft projects. Select your fabric series, color, and cut size before ordering.

This is a luxury-grade faux fur with a 4-5 cm (1.57-1.96 in) pile — dense, soft, and full-bodied, designed specifically for clean shaping and shaving. The fibers are long enough to create depth and volume, yet structured enough to stay controlled during trimming.

Unlike overly fluffy long furs that collapse or tangle when shaved, this fabric has a strong, even base that shaves smoothly and predictably, making it ideal for detailed sculpting. It holds gradients well and blends beautifully between shaved and unshaved areas.

The fur lays naturally with a soft flow, giving finished pieces a polished, high-end look — perfect for makers who want both luxury texture and precision control.

Ideal for:

fursuit heads (face shaping & transitions)
shaved cheeks, muzzles, and eye areas
neck ruffs, chest pieces, and manes
luxury toony or semi-realistic builds
any design that requires clean shaving with plush depth
